Back from Drupalcon Szeged 2008...

I'm back from from Drupalcon Szeged and have lots to blog about. Drupal has such a fantastic community behind it and it was great to put faces to the usernames!

The growing number of really serious professional services companies springing up to support Drupal. And not just development companies but infrastucture and support companies too. Thinking Acquia, Four Kitchens, Work Habit and others. The assurance that 24/7 support and managed services provides will open up new opportunities for Drupal deployment.

The great thing about these companies (and most companies doing Drupal work) is that the developers and engineers are very much part of the Drupal community.
